But the "no start" malarkey is back!!! 😠

One thing I have found out, using the throttle while turning it over, kicks it to life, just, then some judicious pedal use will keep it going, until it gets itself going. ❔❔

Whilst I was toying around with transfer cases, I rang a wrecking yard, in the next town, 100klm away. "how much for a transfer case, xj Cherokee, yadda yadda yadda."
"yeah, we got one. Just over 300000klm , but don't want to separate from trans. $1200. " [emoji33] WTF???

figured out what was causing the death wobbles, looks like the trackbar ball joint (tie rod end) is shat. as i have no idea who the manufacture was of my track bar, im going to just take the end off and get bursons to match it up.

also picked up the iso plug for new headunit.

[QUOTE=Richard buttocks;1553708]Headers and pre-cat pipe are Ceramic coated
wonder if this means I could touch the bonnet rod on a hot day

My headers are ceramic coated. When they were new I drove it through a sticky clay mud puddle and the stuff baked itself on. It has a really thick and durable coating now. I wonder if it helps?
