cheers Galvo,

We have discussed getting our trade in back and giving back the GC but I know there is a great car in the GC somewhere so I'm willing to see it through.

We have done a history check with the dealership where it was originally purchased and serviced and it has no history of this issue so that is sort of refreshing to know.

Finally got my RHD handles from US. Took a while but MoparAmerica paid for the postage to send the LHD ones back and replaced them with the right ones. Not too hard a job though. The drivers side was a little trickier with the lock barrel but not too bad. Once you work out how to get the window released from the runner and find the hidden bolt in the handle close to the front it's all pretty easy. Getting that hidden bolt back in again is a bit fiddly but persistence gets it done.

All up if you had half an idea I think you could change all 4 handles in about 3 hours.

Next task will be intercooler when I get some time, but trying to concentrate on stripping my 65 mustang at the moment so can get it in for panel and paint.

Made an ally plate to house my 75a/h thumper in the spare tyre.

Bolted the plate to the spare captive thread. Had to put some different feet on the thumper to clear the bolt head, but fits perfect with the lid down. Now to run a charging cable from the battery... not sold on the acc activated relay that comes with the thumper, will probably go the basic redarc smart charger. If I get a flat there's going to be swearing...

Talking

Hi fellow Jeepers and Jeepsters. I'm quite new here, just joined. I'm a long-time Jeep fan, and have to confess I have not done much to my Jeep yet. In fact, I only signed for it yesterday, hoping to pick up on Tuesday - 2012 Limited CRD.

I had a WJ and XJ in the distant past. Can't wait to get my Jeep.
