pulled the rear bumper of my spare xj, resprayed it from green to black for a mate's wrig needing a replacement

noticed steam out of the exshaust. the head gasket is surely gone. back to the garage tomorrow and let the repairs commence
the stealership can kiss my exhaust pipe. i'm not going to fork out 470AUD just to have them remove the heads and check them.
i really don't want to drive it anymore and risk getting water in the cylinders.
also called vm specialists in the uk and they seem friendly. too bad i can't order anything untill i take the heads off.

Marcos, excuse my ignorance but what is SHS, is this something you took pics of and did write up?

I like your work and if I can copy rather than reinvent the wheel (seat base) thats fine by me

OK now I am really confused.

50 x 3 I am assuming that is 50mm square, 3mm wall thickness. 50mm seems like a lot, to put on top of the base then the seat, I don't have 50mm above my head in the XJ. Or am I missing something.
