Yup, that's what mine looked like. No way to reconnect it with the lift.

Must have missed the items in manual

Can they be retro-fitted to a Sport from a similar era Limited?...or Grand Cherokee

As I should soon have a spare set of Sports springs, is the Go-Jeep method shown here a proven & good method to get an 1"+ of good riding lift ?
http://go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoMainLeaf.htm

My vehicle is a DD, 95% on road, extreme offroad rare, but on corrugated dirt, or even wet, I dont be wanting axle hop

removing and cleaning the door light switch seems to have rectified the short fault, so globes back in, LEDs should be here next week.

re the buzzer...headlight & ignition feed is the same wire, so unless and until I trace that junction, means cant separate those functions, just disconnected the lot for the moment

Can the rear away bar be retro fitted (from a limited, not a Zg) to a sport? Yes, mine is a sport as shown in the pic I was able to fit one to mine although it's not currently in there.
The buzzer can be disconnected for the ign easy enough, there is a plug on the ign for the buzzer that can be disconnected, this is for the light around the key and the buzzer (pre-update).....

Bloody Nora, I'm sore.
Removed the D35, and std shackles, and installed the the 8.8 and JKS shackle relocator kit and shackles. Won't have a tow bar, until I get some longer bolts.
Also installed the shockie cross over mount.
Tomorrow, finish what I didn't today. Then lift the front....

Forgot to add, I also installed the exhaust system from the blue beast. Couldn't of got any of it done without Joshs help....

Spent some time today doing some fiddly little jobs getting it ready for a long road trip, modified the rear ash tray in the centre console so it is now a 4 port USB outlet for charging phones and tablets, handy for rear passengers.
Whilst I had the spare centre console on the bench I decided it was time for cup holders Mark II, similar design to Mark I this time instead of being made of MDF it's made of acrylic with a vertical wall to stop crap from the centre console bi interfering with the space for the drinks.
Still need to work out a practical and convenient spo for some USB outlets in the front.
Pics to come....

So I think I figured out my leaning problem. The axel is sitting about .75" off to the right.

Left side

Right side

The pictures don't do the shift justice. The lift kit I installed came with a trackbar relocation bracket that move everything to the left pushing the axel right.

So I'm thinking I need to remove it and see what happens.

Today I decided to swap out the '95 door check straps and replace them with the improved '96 model check straps....

While doing this I thought I finish this off...
