Just scored a complete 97 explorer 8.8 rear end for $200 so I'm off to pick that up tomorrow! Bit of a road trip but way cheaper that anywhere local.Guess it's time to start buying parts for the swap!

Got the 8.8 picked this morning and back home. Actually got to choose between two which was nice! This one has low K's and the calipers are in perfect order and I was able to get the yoke adapter from the drive shaft. The best part is that they only charged me $150 in the end! so I drove away with a huge smile

Thanks mate, I was certainly pleased with myself! It's the 3.7 lim slip but I've already decided I'm going all out with it so it'll get gears when the locker goes in.
