I just bought a CRD unlimited and from what I have learned from racing turbo cars Im going to get a set of alloy pipes straight away. Put me down for a set. When will they be ready?

If your hoses are blowing off try the clamps from turbosmart http://www.turbosmartonline.com/index.php?id=39 they are the only ones I could find localy for my EVO race car to prevent blowing off hoses at over 25psi.

Default Keen as mustard

I am interested in the alloy pipes. I often do the 900km sprint between home and Darwin which will be a huge problem if I need a tow.
Let me know how much they are.

Steve, just wondering if this is any further forward??

I realise you have put time and effort into organising this, and I am grateful for that, but at some stage I need to make a decision whether to go and get my own pipes fashioned up, or whether to wait in the hope that this group buy will happen.

Just to add to my prior post, I had the Kaos pipe pop on me. Took them back to the guys and they are now manufacturing them with a Flare on the end of eack pipe, to stop the slipping issues as described above. They modded mine (free of charge of course) and they are going strong.

I would highly recommend these to everyone, I know that getting another solution sounds like a good idea, however the Time it appears to be taking is a little bit nuts (I remember starting this thread, must have been nearly a year ago now). Getting stuck when these pipes (factory) burst is really frustrating and until DC acknowledge that they have put rubbish pipes in this vehicle (never) it's only ever going to be solved by the aftermarket.

I'm assuming this bulk buy is no longer happening??

Might look at other options.
