Here's a shot of my new (07 but it's new to me) Jk on here maiden trip at Rainbow Beach on Boxing day. An interesting comparo to young Robs TJ. I know it's not an action shot, but they'll come later The plates were a Chrissy present from my lovely wife.

Here are some pics of my JK out at Australasian Safari this year. A mate of mine and myself went on the Adventure Tour, which is basically a tourist version of the main event. The plan was to take it easy and spectate, with the look to competing next year in the Moto division (auto needs lots of $$ if you are a privateer).

The JK had only about 1500km on the clock when this trip was started. 7 days and 4500km later, the JK was well and truly broken in. Trip started in Kalgoorlie and went north through Sandstone, Meekatharra (with a side track to the Canning Ranges), Mt Magnet, Gero then down to Perth. Good trip, although not all that well managed in 2008, but i am told it will be better in 2009.

Notice the speed tape on the soft top. I had a few dramas keeping the rear quarter panel locked into the rear door.

only mods are rear coil airbags, Mopar off road rear bar, ARB bull bar, front Hi-lift mount and internal tie down points and stowage set up.
