Default LOD Offroad

I am finally getting my LOD offroad rear bar and sliders installed on my 2010 JK Unlimited tomorrow. Other than and ARB bar the car is stock - so it will be interesting to see how it looks....

Will post up some pics when its done.

yom - it provides plenty of protection, its not made out of press folded tin its 6mm / 8mm plate, and it is far from being ugly. its a stumpy bar, victor can tailor the ends however you like, i have additional plans for the corners, as there will be an integrated protection bar/mud flap holder going in this space. it provides the same corner protection as most other bars including the lod bar as shown below,

The LOD bar looks arse...the Blackjack looks much nicer and more functional!

Post up when you get the additional corners done I think it will improve the visuals immensely but thats just my opinion.

PS: Don't underestimate press folded steel. It is lightweight and very, very strong when folded and welded in the right way. Only downside is when it does bend its time to put it in the bin.

Hi Matt,

I was in the process of importing the parts directly from the US when LOD gave me the name of some guys based in Perth that had JUST agreed to take on a distributorship.. They also bring in Rugged Ridge, ORV and Bushwacker among other things.

I dont want to put their name on the website just yet... Although they have really looked after me - the 'proof will be in the pudding' when I pick up the JK tonight... I will post up the pics and details asap.

Yeah, cheers I know who you are talking about...

I did exactly the same but the sliders went from $580 to $1300 and I just cant justify that for sliders. The bars are worth the cost, they are still my favourite JK bars outright, pity I already have ARB!

Thanks and goodluck with it.

Matt.
