Default What has your JK done to you this week

Man vs Spanner
You pick the winner.

On Friday arvo I was re-torqueing the bolts on my control arms when the torque wrench slipped off the bolt and i smacked myself in the head.

Pain was short lived, ego dented forever.

Only one cure for it. 4 Stitches and then went out to to Scenic Rim on Saturday with 3 TJ's and a 2door JK and drove everything.

Cheers

You reminded me of someone on the Blackbird forum who found out just how much a front wheel weighed when an extra he had fell off a shelf onto his head. One of the brake discs did a number on him. He almost caused an accident, since he didn't feel up to driving & walked to Emergency with blood running down his face!

For my part, I just installed a pair of LS15s from Litestorm on the back basically by his Reversing light project. Put in 2 switches so I can leave them off, have them come on with the reversing lights, or just on at any time for general illumination.

Just waiting for the PPM adjustable LCAs from DBOR, (shipped today), and an AEV snorkel I ordered from Jeepkonnection this week.

Pulled off the rear diff cover to address a slow annoying leak that has been bugging the chit out of me for months.
I was worried about the diff having no oil in it but once I actually undid the filler plug to check, the level was only millimeters lower then it should have been.
No water in the oil too, which was a bonus. With the stupid shit I do I was expecting the oil to be rat shit !!!
I'll post all of the photos this evening. I'm currently waiting for paint to dry ... again.
