Ill see if I have some at work for you but if you can imagine the little knob & light sitting next to your headlight controls you will get my drift lol if I owned a wk it would be the only place I'd install the kit

FWIW I'd only install a proportional brake controller - I believe that the Redarc is not one of these.

Thanks Ozjeepster, Hope you have some happy snaps. Always comforting to see what the end result will be before I start drilling holes into my 1 week old Jeep. Do you have an opinion on these Redarc units? I've never had to use electric brakes before so I'm completely ignorant on the subject. I'm going to be towing a T-van camper trailer with it, and occasionally my mates horse float. I don't ever intend on towing a big ass caravan on it.

Boritz, thanks for your input. I've asked the question to Redarc to see what the deal is with their units. I thought all units act proportionally. Regardless, with what I'm going to be towing it'll probably be adequate. And I really don't want one of those bulky ugly brake controller boxes knocking around with my knees.

Awesome, that's definitely the location for me. Thanks heaps. What do you mean I'll need to trim the panel behind the outer skin? I'm not even sure how to install this unit, let alone pull the trims apart.

The switch itself is about 1.5" long & will need to go through the reinforcement panel as well if you pop the panel off near the apillar you will see what I mean when you disengage the knee knocker top along the top edge it's an easy job
