Great step but as for a slider not too sure, from the looks of them they hang way low! so sliding over speed bumps should be fine! as for the trail think you will be sliding on them all the time! sliders need to be tucked up out of the way but also offer the best rocker protection!
They hang no lowere than the chassis rail

They do exactly what we purchased them for and looks can be deceiving.
