if they were remving the axle from the diff housing, in theory the CV stub & shaft are connected when you pull apart ya diff... i cant see how they can screwed it up, unless you are thinking different to me...
not saying you're wrong, just wondering, you do know lotsa things that i dont know...
Billsta it just seems funny that the cv was fine until they pulled it apart and now its not Also it dosen't seem to handle properly after the job was done not a good sign that the workshop has done a good job
but don't mind me im just thinking allowed

The front diff (that was extensively re-worked last week) also has problems again. The terrible grinding noise sounds possibly like a careless job at the diff repair place (but I'm not saying that...).
Time for an air locker at there expense

it just puzzles me by looking at the diff, and repairing the internals...
i mean im not doubting chris, its does look like the "repair" place has done something dubious...

I'll ask Billsta.......

Allan (ACJ) came up with a great idea for me. I'll ask the question tomorrow if they will consider replacing the entire front diff centre with an ARB locker, and I'll pay the difference....if any. A new genuine Jeep centre has to worth a fair whack... even to the dealer.

I'm hopin'
