Where do you put your gear if you go away with the kids?? Never understood these draw systems. For the cost of wanting 2 draws you would need to buy a trailer and a roof rack luggage carrier!!

My draws contained all my food and cooking utensils. Tents and bags went on the roof. two kids in the back. It meant that when we stopped we didnt have to unload everything. There are many solutions to the problems of camping with a family this is just one variation.

X2, This drawer system is a great design, one of many too! mine is also very differant to this, Glend has a great setup too. I think it's a great project to do if you know what your needs are, for instance I only wanted something to store my tools and recovery gear with other little bits and pieces. I then built a roof console for in-cab storage as the kj had very little of that too.... Don't have kids yet but all my gear goes ontop of my drawers giving me access to the recovery gear when fully loaded...
