Mind you its only 10A
But they dont make anything higher...
As jeepcj said a dc-dc charger is best
But not many people wanna spend that sort of money
I have a redarc dc-dc thats also solar in my camper, best thing ever.

You need to test the current draw
And maybe even get the batteries tested
Yes Richard, they work awesome when used in conjunction with solar
It's a shame there so expensive but a lot cheaper than replacing stuffed batteries all the time

Jeeps certainly have diodes in the alternator.
How true

Yeah OBD1 and OBD2 on Jeeps use the ECU to control charge rates etc so no internal voltage regulator... Sweet and easy to fit higher output alternator from other Jeeps providing its the same mounting brackets

Sorry, I have not read all the posts before writing, but if it is a preupdate, the cause could be the glovebox lamp being on when the glovebox door is not properly closed or there is some obstruction to the lamp on off switch. It happened to me on a new battery a long time ago and I was struggling to find a cause. I discovered the cause in the dead of night. I laughed when I found light coming through the side of the door opening.

WTF is this????
