The Small Uppers do Flex with relation to the lowers to help eleivate to tortional twist that develops in other 3links. AKA Landcruiser / Nissan system's.

This tortional relationship also helps with on road stability.

I just found this pic, so if u replaced that rubber joint where the upper arm meets the lower arm with a jonny joint it would go a long way in increasing your flex to that of a short arm wouldnt it??

Is this what u ment wooders when u said about Dennis moded 5.5 lift?

Denis Lift is Standard, unmodified RE 5.5" System - and No there would be minimal increase and the existing rubber bush provides Heaps of flex with relation to the amount needed to relaese this tortional stress on the front axel.

+ the RE 5.5" Long outflexes the 4.5" short due to coil length the 4.5" Longarm is the kit that flexes less (Same coild as short arm) ~ there is heaps of Factors that affect flex from vehicle to vehicle such as bush condition / poor bush condition = good flex / bad on road manners.

Just install a Tri-level discombobulator on the front left axis rotational point and you should be fine! It's all relative!
