My corroded TIPM won't let me go out of park a few months ago.
My fix was to disassemble it and resolder the connections on the two inner boards. Bad solders on near every spot.

It's a shame that they use such a crappy design for an offroad-capable vehicle that is prone to see water and debris in the engine bay...

Default Any solution?

HI

Did you ever solve this problem?
I am in Norway with exactly the same problem on my 09 JKU CRD Auto.

First all lights in cluster and NO Bus ,disconnected battery , then all guages dead. Lights and wipers always on. I changed the left multifunction stick, cleaned all connectors on cluster and TIMP with electrocleaner and pressured air. Still the same problem..

Hi everyone. Digging up an old thread but thought its relevant here. Tidying up a few things in the engine bay, had the battery out and pulled out the TIPM (fuse box) as well. Put it all back together, put the key in and a majority of the dash lights came on with 'no bus' on the odometer. Disconnected the battery again and waited about 30 secs and tried again to no avail. Disconnected again and double checked all the connectors that plug into the TIPM, no luck. I did read somewhere that the negative lead needs to be disconnected for about 30 mins, does that sound right? Didn't have my Scangauge with me although i don't know if that would've helped me. Any ideas or suggestions would grateful thanks. Sorry, forgot to mention its a 2012JK Wrangler, 3.6 Manual.
