Northern motor group is like 60kms from where i work. I get a free car every time i drop my jk there for whatever reason just have to book in advance.

Talking about the clutch issue, my gearbox has done it twice now. I go into 3rd gear and when i've fully taken my full off the clutch the gear shoots 3rd gear back into netural. I could have sworn I had been fully ingaged in the gear... Anyone had the same problem?

Yeah, had the same problem in 3rd & 5th; in my case it was the internal rubber dust boot (the one under the boot on the console) that was the cause; it was tight & causing restriction and pressure on the gearshifter, causing it of pop out of gear when I let in the clutch even though it felt like it was fully in gear. Apparantly a restrictive internal boot is a common problem from what I've seen on forums from here & the 'States. It'd be worth a quick check before they start pulling your clutch or tranny to bits.

Nice. Someone is wanting a loan car because the car they purchased new is a lemon and you decide your Service Advisor job makes you god.

I've worked in the service industry and had to deal with "unreasonable" customers plenty of times. I've been really angry with them and often not liked them, however I've never let a personal vendetta ruin the service they DO deserve. Yes sometimes I've had to tell someone they can't get a loan machine or can't have a refund, but I've never used my power to avenge a problem I've had.

What makes you think you're god?

what makes me think im god thats a good one i would be asking yourself the same thing

why should a dealer keep a 30k+ car to let people use for free when they are in no way obligated too ?

like i said it does not mention anything about FREE loan cars in the warranty contract so the dealer is not obligated in anyway what so ever to provide one for you . you may think that just because you spent 40-50 k with the dealer that they will lick your balls on request but that isnt how it works
warranty is provided and administered by chrysler jeep and the dealer is only a franchisee/agent acting on behalf of chrysler jeep and if chrysler wont pay them to provide a car for you then why shold they .

and if you walk into a dealer making demands acting like you are there boss
and making demands for cars that they do not have to provide then expect to be royally stuffed around .

You're a knob on two accounts. Probably more but I haven't met you yet.

1/ Most other dealers will give you a loan car or a hire car if necessary. Why???? Because they want to sell you another one in 4 years time.

2/ Your job is to deal with complaints. The only time people come to see you is because something is wrong. You should have got the job because you could handle complaints well and you could diffuse angry situations. Obviously you can't because you like to "royally stuff around" people.

Touche. Its nobs like that that think they have some power and when people with real issues come to have their cars fixed they get ********ed around by little nobs. I had the same little pricks try and give me the run around when the dealer wrecked my brand new JK while in for a service . Its good customer service that brings people back to dealerships not bad service . Remenber the customer is always right.
