I am fairly certain the freight would come in a lot cheaper than the listed price.
USPS always has the best rates. Shoot them an email.
Give Hammonds a try, Gary has always been good with this old stuff.

Next issue i had is now resolved....

I managed to get some Crabtree spring hangers off an awesome fellow member but they use 3 bolts to mount rather than 2 like the stock ones. There is no 3rd hold so getting a drill bit through a chassis rail with a hand drill while the car is on axle stands is quite a challenge.

Here is the solution that my friend Mr Ebay

15 tonne clamping force AND it just happened to come with the right sized bit in the box, nice score for $100

Diff's finally in. Shocks just sitting there to get an idea of lengths etc

Shock will bottom out before i hit the bumpstop so i need to extend the mounts

Shackles are mounted as per ARB instructions but clearly wont work this way.

Not only do they hit the shackle hangers they also hit the PS support.

This helps

Yeah those shackles are real confusing and catch pretty much everyone out it seems. Once the weight is on they are good. The pin is actually meant to stop the reversal of springs. I tried upside down like your rear pic but once back on the ground didn't look/work right. Took me a lot of fast talk and liquor and to work it all out. Maybe you have tried it anyway and didn't work.

Pic from a post of mine. On trolley jack and pin is up against hanger.

Voo Doo this is my junk.
MORE brackets and hangers. I am running SJ cherokee front srings.
They are longer by about 4 inches and you need to drill a new hole to relocate the bracket.
But it rides beter and flexs more.

My setup wouldnt work like this without hitting the powersteering pump and the reinforcing bracket so ive put the pin to the front. There is no way they will invert with the YJ springs so hopefull it will work ok. I may still need to do some ajustments as i only have 3 degree of caster with the lift so will need to add some caster shims under the diff. At least its all in now and can roll it around now. still tossing up whether to do paint now or just drive it for a while. Rust is very minimal and i really want to drive it.
