Aim for around September boys .......I was up there two years ago and mid September was just great. Let all the other travellers go fight for space in June and July. Apparently it is a madhouse up there during that time. When we went in mid September it was nice and quiet ........space to camp at any place you choose , the roads were still in relatively good condition, there was still enough water in the rivers to makes things interesting.

You cannot help but have a ball up there. Happy planning

The closer you go to the wet the harder(more fun) the tracks are and the PDR will be freshly graded, only afew corrugations! plus theres heaps of water everywhere still. Only downside is crowds as stated earlier.May is a gamble but if u want to see the tele track at its best/deepest then earlier is better.

Wink

Haha thanks for that advice fellas, wet is fun but also a real prick.
I am leaning towards September because like said, no competition for spots but it will ultimately be the time everyone agrees and can make it =)

Unfortunately she has the baggage of the prehistoric chryco
She has a dizzy, but... I already have a telescopic dizzy breather that I've been meaning to run back through the firewall. (currently sits at the back of the motor) has anyone tried sealing it up completely?
