If it's over $1000 in value of the goods most times it WILL get stopped. (don't confuse the $1000 by including the cost of shipping).
Break the $1k barrier and even if it comes through USPS/AustPost you will get pinged and it's not just the costs but the BS forms & shyte......
Also would you like me to quote you the part of the act that states gifts are NOT GST exempt ? Otherwise my next bunch of pallets will have a set of big ribbons

sorry wooders i didn't explain that well, my mate doesn't import for bussiness he buys goods from the states for his own race car, the items he buys are like fuel injection & nozzles stuff that is over $1000 but small enough to conseal as a gift.a pallet of gear would look suspious wrapped up or you have some friends that buy cool pressies, hey don't get me wrong i'm not arguing with you wooders just letting you know what me mates told me & he could be wrong as he hasn't bought anything for a while

I totally agree Manxie!

I'll be getting it shortly, tho I'm still deciding on whether or not to go all out and get the more expensive mopar bar with the winchmount addon... I haven't done any wheeling yet, but it was the whole reason that I bought this Jeep for in the first place, and definatly will be... so still trying to decide if it would be worth the extra investment for the future... any suggestions?
