Hi All,
I'm thinking I might got for 285/75/r16's (33") when I take delivery in about 3 weeks, and then get it regeared to 4.10 (from the 3.21 with the manual).
Has anyone gone to this size tyre without a lift? Any comments ???
cheers !!

Ok, so im after a little bit of advice....

Cooper STs or Mickey Thompson FC-IIs?

People say they are both built in the same factory just with different tread patterns....

What do you think is more appropriate to the Wrangler and which is a better tyre?

Im going for the 245/75R16s.

Cheers!

Default Keep stock tires on new wheels?

I'm also after some advice - I'm buying some new wheels as I don't like the ones on the stock JK (unlimited) but will stick with 16" (Procomp 8179 in black).

I don't have a lot of cash so am thinking that I could put the stock tires on my new rims - or are they so crap that it would be too stupid?

A set of aggressive looking offroad tires look hot and so maybe an option - but as 80% of my driving will be on road I have to get ones that are good on highway and in the wet in terms of driveability/noise - what would everyone recommend?

thanks!

Ok,
So i have just ordered a set of Cooper ST 265/70R16s and the changeover (straight swap)price from the stock tyres on my unlimited JK was $750 for all 5. Bear in mind that I have to drive straight form the dealer when i pick the rig up on tues to the tyre place, but hey it will be awesome!
Cheers!

Well by my own figures im guessing he gave me about 120 each. The problem is that the tyres are not actually an aussie tyre, so he was not really sure how much to credit.
Cheers!
