ok here is what im thinking what are your thoughts / comments

96 block ( i have found one)
AMC 258 crank shat casting number 3727
Sealed Power 677P pistons
AMC 258 rods
the head will be my ported and polished 4.0 ho 94 unit but i will carry out more exstensive porting im also thinking o installig chev 350 stainless steel valves
Mopar hipo oil pump 4529241
Cloyes Dual Roller Timing Set part no. CLO-9-3127
Mopar purple Cam
Harland Sharp Roller Rockers
Crower Solid Lifters
i would like some hardened pushrods but im not to sure what to use /where to get it
I will be using a full set of new gaskets

and now the fun stuff im thinking 24poud injectors with a garet t60 turbo and intercooler mounted ontop of the motor i would have to fabricte alot o it myself so i would modify a set of torque tubes.

What do you guys think of this proposed setup ?

A "Stroked" engine has a different crank with a greater throw, in turn giving a larger capacity engine and more power. Basically the distance from top dead centre (the highest place the piston travels to) and bottom dead centre (the lowest point it drops to) is increased.

A Gen3 motor is a Generation 3 V8, Holden have one, it's a 5.7lt V8, could also be the GM Corvette LS1 engine. Basically a big V8

Cheers
Steve

nah i definatly want to stroke it not really wanting the v8. I have played with the lexus v8's before and yes it would fit but i dont think the motor is very suited to the application they are more suited to cruising but then again ..... they put them in the lexus l470 (flasher than michael jackson version of a landcruiser)
