Funny I was sitting behind an X5 yesterday afternoon after reading this thread and pointed it out to the wife. Under new QLD laws thats a hooning offence, get done twice and the cops can impound your vehicle! Would love to see a lawyers new X5 impounded

Another case of double speak?? If read "can be higher or needs none" then how high & how do you comply with 14.2.1.. but then I'm confused...MY13 ( so I've been told) had mud flaps and MY14 none bit like how the front parking sensors have disappeared..The old "trim the extras....keep the price down" trick and pay a premium to get them back...and on it goes bash plates, tow hooks etc.
Which model did you get? The Laredo never came with front parking sensors, only the limited & overland.
The front mud flaps were removed when the rock rails were fitted, so figured i might as well even it up.
Why remove the front mudflap...Just cut a shaped hole to allow the rockrail to protrude through...Did this with the Commander and my mates have done the same with their WK2s and I'll do it with mine when I get my rails next week. I'll get a pic of how my mate has done it if you like.
I asked at the spares dept and it's a $500 option but eBay $365. Superchicken should be able to clarify, he sells Jeeps.
Ah sorry mate - I'm not looking for them. I was asking your model WK2 as the comment you made about Jeep removing the front parking sensors was confusing me - they never have supplied the with the Laredo, only with Limited and overland.
