Be good if the AEV kit was available with Fox shocks, think that would be spot on.

Yeah, that's the problem with kits.
My 3" lift comprises of no less than about 10 manufactuers not including the numerous parts such as relocation brackets, bump stops etc. I manufactured myself.
I'm very very happy with the results. It all works well.
I do agree though. The AEV kit would probably be the best choice in this case.
Maybe the OP could negotiate with the supplier regarding the choice of shocks in the kit?

Daughters about to get teraflex 3 inch base lift kit and bilstein 5100 shocks from sbr just waiting on container to arrive from USA. Would she be better getting the AEV system with the better bilstein 5100 shocks or are both systems much the same and price is around the same. Any advice would help

Yes, maybe that would be a better option.
The teraflex is very basic but good value - that was my first lift which I ran with bilstein 5100s. For me, it was too firm and sagged in 12 months. Front caster correction made a noticeable improvement and needed adjustable control arms which I would factor into your budget for that setup.

AEV will result in better caster and geometry. It may be the better option & others seem to be very happy with the handling

Good info guys. With the DBOR kit there's a whole bunch of options to upgrade the springs and shocks, sounds like the fox shocks are good, spring upgrade offered is teraflex. Seems like the AEV might be the way to go right now though, will look into swapping the shocks out

I love my Fox shocks and consider them the best mod I've done to my JK. They are quite stiff and probably not everyone's cup of tea but for me who has mainly owned performance cars all my life the ride is spot on.
