So I'm getting the job done with my grandfather and have started working on it.

So far the major thing that has been done is the roof has been removed from the door pillar b hind the front door all the way back, and the side of the jeep from the the windows up has been removed so it looks like a pickup truck, except u can jump from the front seats out to the back of the vehicle.

next job is dooing a nice fiberglass finnish on the open cut parts of the jeep.

Then installing a full rollcage,

My main question now is where is the most structuarly appropriate places to bolt the rollcage into the floor, (which sections of the chassis) im thinking the rollcage needs to be bolted down in atleast 3 places on the floor and in the door pillar that wasent removed.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
I would be attaching it to the top of the door pillars, The back where the frame was between the back windows & tail gate and at the front where the windscreen frame was. You will also probably need a frame stiffener on each of the frames under the car.

Hey guys.
Today i just bought 50 foot of 1.5in NB galvanised steel pipe
so the inside diamater is 1.5in and the outside is about 1.8in, its about 1kg per foot
and quite a heavy wall, was only $24 at the local scrap yard

Yes i know its not verry large pipeing but its the heaviest pipe my grandad can bend in his pipe bender , o well should be strong enough i think as long as we manifacture the rollcage in a good structural shape.

probably start cutting and bending on sunday, so well see how it goes.

Sure have been to the metal yard. Go most weeks

Make sure you strengthen or brace before you chop chop. Don't want it to flex and bend out of shape then weld it bent up...
