Default Gas?

G'day bilt4mud.
May I ask wot gas?
I find Argoshield 60 - pretty much pure Argon helps if u want top notch penetration, impurity free welding depending on how much u need to help the shortcomings of your welding unit.
I like it cos it lets me run to S steel, Aluminium, and steels are a breeze....but then my MIG welder is a relative toy compared to what I am used to.
The inertness of the environment u create is just pivotal - BUTT it is only available in a G size bottle....big sucker to handle.
Cheers
