I never got my stroker on the dyno whilst running properly but with incorrenct valve seat pressure it was running about 155rwhp but definetly running like shit.
I ran 34" wrag tires on 3.07 gearing in the 01 5spd man and it was a weapon to drive but did destroy a standard diff and also an arb locker.

Install has been put back a few days - when they were port and polishing the head they found a crack
The replaced it with a brand new head as they didnt want to take any chances on my vehicle :P

Should all be going in next week some time.

Here's a few progress shots. I dropped the Brute off last Monday and on the Wednesday it looked like this. Progress was halted for a few reasons, one of which being the different spigo crank bush on my stock engine and the different injectors.

New Genuine Mopar Spigot crank bush was located and ordered. New Custom Injectors were ordered ex USA and they should be down at the installers place on the Gold Coast Monday morning. If that's the case she'll be running that afternoon

Here's how she looked on Wednesday when I dropped off the Spigot bush.

Interested to see the results Stu, seeing as i have OiiO's old stroked TJ.
Was supposed to be 275hp but dunno if it feels that strong- definitely better then a stock TJ/XJ though.

On another issue, saw the Murchison Offroad GC at Gympie shops recently (was in the Patrol heading to Fraser for a week). Stopped and said a brief gooday to Damien (?).

Looked good, very good. Are there pics posted of it and a list of mods?

Hi Richo, yeah that way Damien (family friend and avid MP supporter )
He was on the way to Townsville as he's moved up there for work now. He doesnt work for me, just loves to wear the decals Works doesnt it!!!hah!

Yeah we're keen to see the results of the engine as well. I dont think its going to be any different from the other 4.7's out there, 275/285Hp at the crank seems to be the math. I'm only interested in how well it drives as a daily though. Economy, Towing Power, Hill accents ect. The stock 4.0l is pretty useless I recon. For such a large capacity production pushrod engine you'd think it would produce around 400Nm rather than the dismal 300 stock.
