A friend sent me an invite to this Jeep trip. As far as I know the plan at the moment is to depart from Pine Hut Soak at about 9am on Sat 30 July. Looks like a few people will meet at Le Cornu and leave from there early morning. Currently 7 people have said they're going.

Just posted in the event. What a coincidence.

Looks like we'll be having a heap more jeeps out there.

Originally I had commitments that weekend but it seems like they've freed up. Hence I'm hoping I might be able to make it to this!

Is the plan still for a Friday departure or will it be changed to be in line with the trip planned on the facebook page?

We're doing a Friday departure. As is tookles. But it's just to Pinnaroo/pine soak hut.

We're not doing any if the track until Saturday, so if you wanted you can meet us there.

In regards to the Facebook event. I haven't heard anything from them about meeting up, so unless they choose to meet up with us, we'll stick to this plan and maybe run into them.

Hey guys,

I did the border track a few months ago, check this short vid of some of the fun! Worth the trip for sure, a few challenges with some climbs, very soft sand.
Maxtrax defiantly needed for us. Annoying to see that stupid matting layed down, making what would be a good challenge into a breeze...

I'd probably have to meet up with you guys on the Saturday as me and the mrs have a function to go to the night before.

Is this going to be a jeep only kind of affair or is it open to others?

I'm still unsure about it too but will probably have to go Saturday morning too, have a couple of mates (non Jeeps) that want to tag along also
