Been looking into this and have a few questions:

Is it easy to install or do I have to take it to a specialist?
Do I have to buy it as a JK kit or could I buy it from any dealer?

Default Provent 200

Easy DIY. I made up a piece of aluminium angle and a support bracket to mount the Provent next to the brake booster, above the steering shaft and above the clutch cylinder (manual JKU). Connected original PCV hose between air box and Provent, fitted a new hose between PCV and Provent. Didn't cut original hose so I can reinstate to standard if I move the Provent onto another car. Fitted a drain hose from the Provent to a tap alongside the chassis rail to periodically drain oil.

Yes, its an easy install - finding the room is the tricky part.

To give you an idea, I catch 240ml every 5000km. My engine has done 110k km and is in very good shape.

Heyesio
Is 240ml per 5000km a lot, man that's nearly 1/4 of a litre that would be going into the intake, intercooler and through the turbo
Do you have an egr disable or is yrs stock?

Its not really that much. Most cars I've had in the past have produced more. Some other turbo diesels are reporting alot more. Volkswagens I hear are bad, ironically...

Still, my vehicle has done over 70k km without a catch can and the inside of the intake manifold is chocker's. MAP sensor has clogged up and spat a code twice, but not since the provent went in.

I've not got the Green diesel tune. I'm getting it soon...

BEWARE there are fake Chinese copies of both the 100 and 200 Provent being sold .They are very similar but have some major short comings, Also the Chinese filters will not fit the genuine Provent. Google fake Provent filters. The only real hassle is the new Provent filter cartridges. are in some cases half the price of a new Provent.I am washing mine out with diesel,3rd time and it still seems ok.Also to stop hoses flattening in tight bends when fitting I insert a stainless spring.

i used the fake eBay prevent 100 on 2 TD 4.2L cruiser and patrol motors with huge blow by at 420,000kms and worked great id empty 20-30ml a day and have the tap down a hose and near the chassis rails so all up it would hold prob about 150ml to catch the weeks worth, if you are worried the 100 is too small for a pissy 2.8l id be more worried about the state of your engine
