For what it's worth, my TCM software version is "2008 Year" with hardware "2001 year" - part 56041906BD.

The ECM is 2004 year, part 56044679AA.

On my side it feels like the same effort to stop, regardless if hot or cold.

I've seen a bad fuel pressure regulator do some weird things with the idle. Are you seeing any fuel pressure error codes?

Fuel pressure regulator changed two times on my jeep. No error codes or differences.

Random thought...

It is linked to the transfer case position, which feeds into the TCU. The TCU momentarily requests engine control during gear changes. If something got stuck at that moment, it might be related.

I'm going to assume that a battery disconnection has been tried. If not, give it a go. However, resetting the TCU adaptives might clear it.

Yes . I think that in 4low it is different "map" on ecu and transmission, for example when driving 4low transmission starts moving second gear and thorttle responce is different.

All easy fixes have been tried on my jeep, inclued tcu readapt and battery disconnect. Tcu parametres (fluid temp etc. are ok)

The fault have been since i bought the car, abaut two years. When driving winter in finland i can life with it. Its not so bad when engine temp is very low. And yes engine temp sensor is new and telling ecu correct parametres. Battery temp sensor and ac pressure sensor are good too.

Greetings from Finland! Have you tried that when you are at park and idle goes to 1500, can you lower it by turning steering wheel to extreme right and left positions? I did a lot of testing with WJ DiagPro injector learn values to make fuel corrections numbers as small as possible. When fuel correction was big in some cylinders, I had this same issue that idle did not lower down after measuring 1500rpm. Moving steering wheel from left to right did lower it.

And when I got those fuel correction values to good numbers, idle setled fast to 750rpm after measuring with 1500rpm. I remember reading from somewhere that injector giving too much fuel causes high idle.

In image are my numbers. Left is starting point and right is what they are now.
