Rugged Ridge A-Pillar pod fitted, and two custom rocker switches installed (winch isolator and winch control).

Warn M8000, Albright solenoid, incab winch isolator and control switches, as well as wired remote plug if required on bullbar.

Couple of shots of Bundy in front of a bushfire enhanced sunset.

Hey Bundy1, How is the Tx4600 going in that position? Is there anything you would have done differently given a second shot at it?

The reason I ask is, since seeing your install some months back, I've been drooling over a GME TX4600 because of the IP67 rating. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on getting one installed in the same location, but thought to ask first in case there are some tips you could offer on the location.

I'm also tossing up the idea on going for the 'head on the mic' options like ICOM 440n - cost is about the same.

Can't fault the TX4600 radio or the location where I've fitted it. Blood brilliant!

I did have some reception problems at first, and was beginning to doubt my selection in radios, but a quick trip to a radio tech revealed that I had stuffed up when fitting the plug on the end of the aerial coax. The plug was removed and re-attached correctly this time, and all my reception wows were over.

Love the IP rating of the radio which was a big decider when I was looking. Good piece of mind if you have the top off.

Mounted where it is, means you can hear calls very clearly.

I'm also very happy with the Gear Keeper retractable mic holder as well. Works a treat.

Love the look of your Jeep, white is a great color to build on.

Thanks mate.

Love the colour more for its ability to hide the bush pinstripes than anything.

The wife has approved the location, the head unit is ordered, and the install will have many photos taken. Thanks for the quick replies
