I also have a 2010 WH GC diesel which I tow a caravan with in Aust.Find it a much better tow vehicle than the WK2 with Quadralift.Maybe because of solid axle, spring setup etc.Doesnt move around in the rear as much.

I do have an Andersen weight distribution hitch fitted and that made a fair difference. Stiffer rear shocks should make the difference I'm looking for.

Russell, mate I just looked at your Location, yr 30km's from me & I maybe going to Maryborough Saturday, more than happy for you to hook yr boat up & test the shocks , yes do have electric brake controller fitted.

Thankyou very much for your offer. After reading your replies and looking at jeep garage site, I ordered the shocks from Rock Auto and should be here thursday next week. Bought the 2 and delivery cheaper than 1 from australia.

So good or bad they are going on as soon as I get them. Thanks again very much for the offer, my trailer plug probably wouldn't fit as it a 12 pin set up for the hydraulic /electric brakes anyway. I will keep you up to date as to how it goes.
regards Russell

I have found the exact opposite- went from WH to WK2 with Quadralift and it is far better, dead level, rock solid, no bottoming out.

Yep, an absolute shitload of WK2s towing big caravans doing the lap of Aus year round. Most caravaners rate the WK2 at the top of the list for towing.

Hi guys, well the shocks turned up on monday, 6 days from order, fantastic.
Fitted today, easy peasy except for horrible locking nut bilstien supply. I fitted a spacer so the nut didn't have to go all the way down all good.
regards Russell

Good to hear Russell, please keep us posted as to your thoughts on the Shocks & ride quality, I have formed a few thoughts after the 1000km's I have on them now... but just want to confirm with your assessment.

Cheers
Derek
