Seems the slashed pricing has done wonders for KK sales. September was a record breaking month. The KK is a fantastic and traditional looking Jeep with its appealing boxy lines.
I went in to my local dealer buy a KK six months ago and ended up with a JKU Wrangler. I changed my mind for two reasons. One - I couldn't get the drivers seat high enough to the 'command' position I like and secondly for what ever reason the salesman was steering me away from the KK and towards a JK.
Welcome brucet, you'll probably want to change out your wheels soon. Yes the KK's are a touch thirsty but as you say also good value. Mine is nearing 100k and has served me well, I hope to be driving it for a few years yet.
