Thanks, Warwick, for the info that sounds very promising I did try the goldcar emulator with no luck, but I think the wcm was locked up, so that's where my troubles are.

I sent all parts ecu, bcm, wcm, key, and internal lock module off and apparently, it has gone missing in the post. Still waiting on Australia post and the repairer to get back to me with an outcome.

I know jeeps are expensive and stressful, but this is way out there. But I do like the WH, so will keep trying.

Any luck on Auspost finding the parcel?

Did you send it to the USA and it got lost coming back, or is there a local repairer?

The repairer is in Victoria. Australia Post says delivered. Waiting on the repairer now to get back to me. The repairer has been great in trying to find what went wrong with missing items.

Cheers

Can you share which repairer please?

I have a new WIN that I bought a while ago as mine was damaged in an accident when I bought it. But have just found out that on export 08's at least you have to change the column steering lock module at the same time as well as 2 new FOB's
I'd like to have a backup in case it doesn't work out for whatever reason.

Just Jeeps auto wreckers at Sunshine in Victoria.
Tell them it's about a WIN and column lock module and they will put you onto the right guy.
Best of luck.

Were they able to fix yours in the end?

Yes, all synced back up and working and received in the post last week. In the end, it appears the ecu had a power surge they think and had to be repaired.
I haven't had time yet to install but hopefully this weekend.
