Been down to Canberra for Xmas so stocked up on filters for the coming year and MB Spares have Auto trans oil about $16 a Lt, Bilstein oil conforms to MB specs and that brings my auto service down to about $140. Great stuff.

If you go shopping there you need the MB number a Jeep number they will laugh at you.

The idler bearing ID numbers for the heater (15 part diagram) and ribbed idler pulley (7 part diagram) are:

Heater Pump: 35BD5222DUM18A (OD=52mm, ID= 35mm, Depth=22mm)
May need to make a few calls to locate, they are available though.

Ribbed idler: Nuline bearing: 6203ATN-RSVC3
Can get at any bearing supplier.

HTH,

Jason

Good one bodgie, that Nuline bearing only fits the ribbed pulley I suppose ??????
I'll have to get the numbers together and pay a visit to my local bearing place.

Unfortunately the bearings in the other 2 idlers appear to be moulded in to the pastic so you need to buy 2 new idlers. I know this because I had to cut one off to get the bracket off to extract the butchered bolt.

These 2 bearings cost $25, so it would pay to have them on hand IMHO.

Hi Drover and others. Thanks for a great site. My WG (04 CRD) has done 205K with 150K of those done by me (as well as all of the services and repairs over the interim). Just a note to say that the MB part number A6120703232 is not the fuel line from the pump to the rail (as cited in the first post) but is the actually the bleed line for the pump. The other two MB part numbers are correct (and I dont have the part number for the line from the pump to the rail). Cheers

Thanks mate, can't remember where I got it from but will do some checking up on it and adjust the listing.
Feedback is what keeps it up to date..

Have deleted numbers for fuel lines, they appear in cat but don't have a diagram to show which is which, will update when possible.
