Nice one wen!

BUT these are great campers, everything has been well thought through and its probably the rolls royce of the camper trailers these days.
Only drawbak is the body and track width behind a TJ.
The solid roof over the bed area is the best idea, the whole tent area packs up into the rear door and you can literally just pull over and jump into bed if its late /wet/ without the exercise of the whole tent setup.
Gotta agree with Lexx, one of these on my wish list too, just the width and the $$$$ $$$$ that concerns me

Had to spoil it didn't ya, hehehehe.

I saw one of these behind a TJ at the Outback challenge last year and it seemed to be spoton for the TJ weight and track wise.

You could always go the upgraded version with a generator with fuel and water compartments underneath for $27,000

I looked at many camper trailers just recently. The T-Van is too heavy for a TJ IMHO, I wanted to hire one for jambo, but got knocked back for insurance reasons, as they are around 800kg and ball weight is 100+kg .Hired a Campomatic, still way too heavy, I reckon.
We ended up buying a Pioneer Prospector II 4x4, only weighs 610kg, hydr disc brakes , treg, 240-12v, gavanised,120lt water tank, stainless kitchen, hard floor. Very well built, I think they are great value for money. Made in WA. We love ours.

i agree with everyone who like the t-van, after watching be towed throutgh "nitrocharger" (a stage of OBC 2004), it really is a gnarly "caravan".

This is one of the best load-on's I have seen. Nothing to tow. All you need is a Jeep ute!

i saw a person with the same kind of set up once at Hawthorn bridge, he let me go up and have a look. ver very cool, the storage was very well set up. the bloke hated it because it was to heavy. this bloke even had a tv and radio which plugs into a lighter socket. even had a lap top on deck for his grandson.
