2012 JK Wrangler Availability?

The Pentastar 3.6 is mated to a w5A580 5 speed auto trans

I spoke to my local Jeep dealer and he said we wont see the new model witht he pentastar til 2013!! he recons they wont make right hand drive ones till then and that we will continue to get the current model til then, do you think he's lying just to make a sale now?

I asked the service deparment yesterday when i was there for some warrenty work they said next year, I trust my source as I used to work at this dealer ship and know the service manger very well

No manuals, only autos?

Yeah, he's probably lying. It costs money to operate multiple production lines of different motors and multiple production lines of vehicles with different motors. I think I read somewhere also the new engine is actually cheaper than the old, so his comment doesn't make any kind of sense UNLESS there is a huge warehouse of old motors that Chrysler wants to dump here.

RHD wrangler come off a different production line to LHD ones...
