Its good to see you enjoy getting out there! - I started the thread because I couldn't find a good collection of info for a mate of mine who wants to get into Jeep camping - so thanx for posting up and hope you get a little ripper when the time comes

Things that helped me over line;
More space in the Jeep (2dr).
Not sleeping on the ground.
Quicker setup.
Easier to pack away when wet
I'm sure there were more but I'm older than dirt and just forget stuff LoL

cheers Hunty

Just a couple of our trip around Australia. Lived in the camper for 18 months after doing the bottom half in a tent for 18 months Thought it was time to upgrade to a camper, ended up getting a Tru Blu eagle and haven't had any problems with it. Fitted 2 100amp agm Batteries in the tool box, Led lights inside and out, 120watt solar panel. Our longest stop was for 2 weeks and the batteries ran the fridge, lights and 12v fan with the panels keeping them pretty full.

Here some of ours camping on the Buckland River this at Xmas

It is a Dingo Camper highly modified
Powered water 140litre water tank
Gas BBQ, Hot Water Service and gas cooker all plug into air type fittings and feed of the main gas bottle
Custom kitchen
leds fitted throughout
Atco suspension
whole thing works a treat

Set Up

View from the front

The Kitchen

Gas bottle set up

BBQ and Hot water

Solar panels to recharge the deep cycle battery

Shower tent and separate loo tent

The newest addition for this year was a pump to pump water up from the river
powered by the new 4 stroke Kipor generator
Pump cost $96 and hose $20 saved a heap of work while we were away

All plugged in ready to go

All the led lighting worked really well both inside and outside of the camper
We camped with 7 adults four tents for the two weeks all the cooking was done from the camper washing up and storage and we all survived with out too many dramas.

Thanks
Jono

Smile What a SWEEEEET setup

Maaaate
I love your setup....brilliant
I especially loved the electric water pump to get water up out of the creek, that is one little ripper of a labour saving device and a sweet addition to any camp site, well done mate.
cheers Hunty
