Hey rainman I've got a pre update 96 plate classic. Would this FSM be relevant to my vehicle? Apologies for the hijack.

The trouble with the 96 is it is OBD2, the closest physical vehical is the 95 but it was OBD1 so you will need both the 95 and the 97 manuals and use a combination of the two and that will get you close....

I have another issue with this car, Not all the time, but sometimes when i take off on a left turn going slow i get a bumping sound and feeling through the back end somewhere. I'm hoping its not a bad diff. Almost seems like a auto lokka going click click click on a turn, but more of a clunk. Anyone had this?

make sure the slip yolk is really greased up then re-diagnose the clunk

sliding part of drive shafts ,,they are splined to allow movement with suspension travel as they shafts shorten and lenghen ..if these are rusted or seized they make are slamming noise .grease well so they slide ..some have grease nipples others need to moving boot and drop a shaft end and grease by hand
