I think the real "looooooooooooooooooosers" out there are the ones who part with there hard earned and buy that crap magazine, and then believe because it is written then it's got to be right. My comic books have more interest.

The real problem I see is that there is not enough Jeeps.

More Jeeps means more Jeep mechanics, more shops selling Jeep aftermarket parts, more importers selling accessories and more competition between all the above so that prices stay low.

Isn't that really the only advantage these other car companies have? A numerical advantage?

I haven't seen any evidence that they actually sell a better product (only a more "car like" product).

This mag is not getting any more subscription dollars from me they can get trucked..... I have personal friends convert from a Patrol, Pathfinders, Challenger, Hilux.... All it took was a day of offroading at LAKE Lyle..... They wanted tourers and they chose a shorty.... explains heaps about their common sense......

Do I count here? I used to have a Full Time 4WD Corolla before I got my TJ!

The Corolla, slightly modded AWD station wagon, ultimately was just a car. The TJ had character, and I loved it. I just needed the extra seat with 3 kids. Of course, now I don't but have it anyway. Means I can put a bit more space between whoever is in the back though! Makes trips a bit more bearable! (They are 12, 9 & 6 now...)

I think they wanted the Jeep to perform poorly in comparison - why put a two door in the same comparison test with a touring vehicle? Not based on price, the 4 door is still heaps cheaper.

I came from a modded Subaru Forester that was a weapon on the beach, but was useless for the likes of Glasshouse. Have taken a Patrol and a Hilux to Fraser, they did the job OK, but the I love the JK - its just fun

Run this comparo in Britain and guess who'd win?
Run it in the states and guess who'd win?

Plus it was voted on by 1500 readers of the mag

I thought my JK was just plain awesome until I read this, Now Im going to have to get rid of it and by the legendary 80 series, Wifes WK2 has to go now as it just didnt make the list.

On a serious note Id love to see an optioned up JK go on one of there trips, I reckon it would be too confronting for most of there viewers so I wont hold my breath.
