Zander coil spring lifts are not an exact science .5 inch here or there is not a lot.
i think it is unfair to assume the coils will not live up to the sales pitch.
i think you should fit them expect about 3'' initially off the jack and expect some settling. good luck with it any way

Alternately, call the supplier and actually ask them?
From what the other guys are saying, the coils are made to suit, so yours may be made to give 2" of lift (within normally allowable margins).

and btw, the same unfitted length does not always equal the same fitted length.

This lift just doesn't look right.

I only want 2 inches MAX, should I swap these over before they are fitted? I have the AEV front bumper and a Warn winch.
Just relooking at the pic of Nemsis' JK (nice looking JK Nem by the way ), that vehicle is actually perfectly level - if you look at the rock rails and the drivers window, these are flat. Yes, there is a slightly larger gap above the front wheel, but this just the Jeep design. You may have slightly longer springs than Nemesis, but the ones you have are the same ones I have. With stock suspension the CRD sits almost 3/4in lower in the front than the Sport due to the extra weight of the motor. So you could therefor assume that yours should sit about 1/2in or slightly more lower than mine.

I know they used to swap the coils if they were not the correct height once installed, but I would shoot them a quick message before sticking them in if you are worried.

This is mine this afternoon, though the driveway is a slight up hill and there was a tree in the way so I couldnt get a perfect side on shot, so is possibly not quite the same as it would be on level ground? Anyway, notice the level of the side steps comparing where they sit regard to the front and rear wheels, mine definately still has slight nose down to it.

Do you honestly expect a lift to come out of the box at 2" exactly??
Well the 99% of us like our springs a little bit larger to begin with to allow for sag...
Unless you specifically MENTIONED you wanted 2 inch springs straight off the bat, with no allowance for the fact you drive a crd and what other accesories you mentioned to him, during the inquiry stage
I'm afraid he has done nothing wrong by sending you springs that will be (initially) larger and if its out by a smidgen so be it!

Actually these springs dont sag/settle believe it or not! Mine are still sitting at the same height now (to the mm) compared to the they were when installed 12,000km ago!

They are actually warranted against sag

Thanks for going to the trouble of doing that Seacomms, if my car does sit a little lower in the front then the lift would look "right" to me.
