Good thinking, Yoda42...

It will also be easier to get to if needed. I'll just have to be careful to lock it on!

Cheers

I have the 20" Rims on my car. They came with Khumo 265/50R20 solus 21 on them. Has anyone replaced 20" tyres on the jeep before. My car is currently 95% on road and 5% off road.

What would be a good AT to replace them with?

I've heard good things about the Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/55r20's on WK2 JGC's.

They will probably be the pick of the bunch when mine arrives in 2 weeks.

Wow - 20k - That's almost ACCC territory!

I just weighed the two spares.

The steel rim with a Khumo P265/60R18 = 33.1 kg
Alloy with D697 LT265/60R18 = 33.7 kg

Cheers

Managed to get 45K out of the Kumhos (18") before they were totally RS. Swapped out for Cooper AT3 in the 265/60 size ($350 per coner) and extremely happy with them. Great on and off road, very sticky in all the recent wet weather in sydney last week. just hit 10K in them and they look unmarked. Note however, they are not LT and i have managed to scrape some rubber off the sidewall whilst recently off-roading. not enough to cause any damage, but enough to show a bit of white carcase under the rubber.

Has anyone tried the Hancook Dynapro ATM's?

The best price I can find on some Cooper Zeon LTZ's is 440ea, which is too much unless I can sell the stock Kumhos.
