They sure do, my 2009 Laredo has hill start assist, it's fantastic.

Hmm would you mind explaining the operation to me, for both "uphill" and "downhill"?
The GC is the first auto I've ever had, so I might be missing something lol.

Any word from the dealer yet?
Sounds like an issue with the torque converter draining to me...
Hope it's not low on oil If it is, you'd wanna ask for a new box IMO!
