Overall it went pretty smoothly,
- disconnect battery
- remove the splash gaurd under the motor
- remove the clutch fan
- undo balancer bolt and washer
- release tension on serpentine belt... AFTER undoing the balancer.
- fit puller, remove balancer swear and grunt lots
- reverse
Below is a photo of the puller/press I brought, was priceless as I could hold the crank steady while removing and installing the balancer. The thread pitch on the bolts into the balancer was worth double checking as it didnt come with the kit
Only needed half a dozen tools, as mostly pictured. The two hiccups I had were as I mentioned I couple posts back rookie mistakes... Car runs and starts far smoother now.
Next up sort out my fuel useage and weeping power steer and rocker cover.
