As it says it only refers to latches and hinges, not door fitment or requirement but still handy to know.
Do you have a web link to this please?

found it on there website, realise it is a old PDF and some of it is outdated but as far as im concerned it is still up on there website (a GOVERNMENT website) so it is written law, and i would happily fight it in court if i got done for it, im sure a judge would agree if it is on VIC Roads website it is legal

I have a sticker on my hard top which says the doors and roof are for weather protection only, If I could get another sticker, I would stick it in my door jam to show the police if I get pulled over for running doorless. Half doors and tube doors are expensive, I'll make my own in the future but until then its full doors or no doors!
I pulled this sticker off my top and put it in my drivers side door jam.

Here is a link to the list of ADR titles, all you will need to do is Google the rule number e.g. "ADR 2/00" and a link to a PDF for that rule should come up...

Sadly, the cops won't argue ADR rules with you on the side of the road. All they want to do is issue a fine so they can catch the next offender.

You may well win the argument but it will be in a court room.

IIRC only superseded ADR documents are free, i think you have to pay for access to the current ones. Could well be wrong but might just pay to check on versions.

Also you only need to meet the ADR's applicable for the year of manufacture so even if the situation has changed earlier Jeeps would still be ok if they were initially compliant.

Lets face it, it often simpler for the individual bureaucrats to say no when actually they have no idea but just don't want to admit it.
