However, if you want to work it out, I did an excel spread sheet ages ago for working the other way, as in tyre size, diffs and gearbox to work out engine RPM's at certain speeds so you could see what effect larger tyres would have. You can download it from http://files.seacomms.com.au/ and its called Diff Ratios V1.3

I would love to see the graph. I love any knowledge I can learn on my beast. But if you read carefully you can see that not just rubi's but all tow package rigs came with the Dana 44.

Pretty sure the tow package was another American market option, not offered here.

Ah yes my bad I sped read my self. I saw 4:1 which I always see as the rubi ratio for the transfer case. 4:11 diffs is my other visual que.

All JK's come with the Dana 44 in the rear - that release info says it was optional on all other models with a package - we don't get the tow package down here

The Rubi has a higher spline count rear Dana 44 than the sport, plus one in the front instead of the D30.

Have a play with that spreadsheet, theres also other bits on there you are welcome to download if you want too.

EDIT: Damn you have to type fast on here!!! Three replies came in while I was typing this

hehe

It is a little odd and hard to get your head around the differences of the US models to ours, the base package that we get out here is closest probably to the Sahara over there. The Rubicon is pretty much the same though.
