Default Engineering for lift

That's pretty much right from how I read it. The wa and Vic vsb are about the same too.
The issue isn't about the lift an tyres really it's the esc, without this it would be a lot easier in my opinion to engineer. The problem would be an engineer who would certify after the mods have already been done a well...

I'm in the same dilemma and not sure how to go about it all really either I'm wanting to engineer 33's and a 2" lift but almost considering selling the jk because it's just too hard and go find a 100 series lol (jokes).

As rjvines noted and if one were to read it properly and be ******** about it, it would indicate that just about any major modification would have some effect on the ECS system and not just lift and tyres.

That would mean you can't do engine mods, add bull bars, roof racks, regear etc as this would alter the OEM specs and therefore alter the ESC. Unless the ESC system can be adjusted to original operation characteristics.

Procals or similar devices can be used for some of the adjustments, not sure what can be used to calibrate for a heavier vehicle though.

I assume that this also applies to all the lifted prados and patrols as well as the lowered commodores, wrxs..or pretty much any car built in the last 6-8 years with suspensions mods

Default Engineering for lift

The AEV 2.5", 3.5" + 4.5" lifts sold through Jeep Konnection have been engineered.
As far as the ESC goes the 2" Mopar lift isn't engineered to suit VSB regs!

Just because the lift kit has been engineered doesn't mean the fitted lift is, I understand the need to engineer to keep the car safe but if it passes a lane change then that should be enough to say the ESC is still working correctly, it's all just a load of BS to cover liability from all involved.
