I should have mentioned,i.m not criticizing anyone for their tyre choice.I was just very surprised to see those $$ being spent when so many good alternatives are available.

Goodspanner at Brookvale. Highly recommended. Very friendly. MTZ 315/70R17 + ProComp rims 17x9 - $2900 for 5 = $580 per corner. The tyres were about $400 each from memory.

Yerr I too would say any Tyre Power place in Sydney would get them for you. I can get them in Launceston Tyre Power. But exi heck yerr. At least you will get good mileage out of them, apparently. Although I was told by Devonport Tyre Power I would get 70k out of a set of 31" Bighorns. I thought that was a little ambitious and reckon it will be closer to 50k.
