Me personally, I'd save the money being spent on the D30 and put it towards either a Tera 44, or a Prorock 44. Both have proven history of strength and reliability.

I totally agree. I sleeved, C gusseted and HD pothat. Bent like a banana after a tough hit on passenger side. When I say banana I mean seriously bent. i run 35's with a auto CRD. This was the second rebuild. I do like the truss pictured but I know they are very tricky to weld up especially on a D30.
Now I have the new Teraflex HD. Awesome. Should have swapped into this the first time and saved $ and hassle.
