Soooo... what about Queenslanders? Has anyone been pinged? Interested to know people's thoughts on this.

I've heard of a few vehicle inspections on Double Island recently and people getting ticketed in a few traps. Also seen a few topics around TMR inspection sites getting set up near 4wd parks on long weekends.

Mines a CRD auto as well and I find it great for babying through obstacles so it should be under less stress then a manual.
How do you figure that? The auto has 11% more torque than a manual, the diff's will be placed under more load...

Easier to control and you only have more torque through the driveline if you are actually using it. Can usually drive an auto more slowly and controlled. Ie idle up things slowly.
Of course an experienced driver in a manual will do fine but an auto is so much easier for most people.

But what happens to you, and I'll just use you as a good example, If you get in an accident with someone? say for instance that you are at fault, will your insurance company deny your claim on the basis of having larger tyres?
